Our short film is based on a found poem by Jack Cochran, extracted from Trump’s remarks about the COVID pandemic, recorded by Bob Woodward and shared with interviewers during pre-release publicity for his book, “Fear: Trump in the White House.” The poem repeats three times, first spoken by Trump, then shown as text, and finally spoken by the poet, who bears witness to the consequences of Trump’s decision to play down the danger, even though he knew very early just how dangerous the virus would be.

Wildfire is the end and beginning of a process that has been happening for millennia. This cinematic journey through time bears witness to this cycle as the land is scorched by flame, then begins the long period of regrowth and recovery.

Filmed over the course of four years throughout numerous fire zones in California, Immolation utilizes several special camera techniques including slow-motion, standard timelapse and long-term timelapse that tells the story of this distinct process of destruction and rebirth.

Thousands of refugee women endure the uncertainty of their future and face various psychological and physiological problems due to stress in their life. Intisar Foundation is the first and only foundation in the Middle East standing by women affected by war with providing a psychosocial approach through drama therapy. The real soldiers of peace, women, are disproportionality disadvantaged by their vulnerability due to their tired minds and wounded souls. Today in the Arab World, more women than at any time in history, have experienced traumatic incidents and unimaginable struggles in their daily lives. Our 1 Million Arab Women initiative was set in motion to help strengthen women with power and resilience and gain a new perspective for their fresh journeys.

This documentary is tailored to empower our 1 Million Arab Women and broaden their potential through the use of drama therapy. This fourteen minutes film documents the story of 18 women’s experiencing drama therapy at Shatila Refugee Camp in Beirut, Lebanon.

Mexico has over 80,000 disappeared people. Darwin and Dalia are married independent journalists dedicated to searching for them. Their investigative work helps lift up the voices of thousands of families who will stop at nothing to find their loved ones, and details how the government has repeatedly failed to help them in their search. Through their reporting, the line between journalist and activist is blurred, and deep friendships are formed as Darwin and Daila join these families in the streets of Guadalajara to demand justice.

But as reporters with visible profiles, they aren’t naive to the massive risk they take on to tell these stories; Mexico is in fact one of the most dangerous countries to be a journalist. This fear is reflected in the personal decisions they make as life partners.

Yet despite the horrific stories they investigate everyday, Darwin and Dalia ultimately see journalism as an instrument of peace; a way of communicating hope and preserving memory. And while their work may win them distinguished journalism awards, they use it not for personal recognition, but as a potent tool to fight injustice.

City, mountain - this relationship shapes the region far beyond its landscape. Through scientific observation, tourism and sporting activities, through the very living conditions of these spaces, we go beyond the limits that a first interpretation could give us, meaning partitioned, independent or even opposing spaces.

In addition, the issues raised by the dialogues of these two distinct geographical entities lead us to question the place of the human being in his environment and, therefore, question the primordial role of a social imaginary, witness of our relationship to the world. The observation of this territory not only then takes on a universal dimension but it also allows each person to look into a Mirror, revealing the reflection of our society.

As a young man he crisscrossed the country on freight trains in search of teachers that would help to understand himself and where he came from. During this time he experienced the ultimate freedom of having no home ahead and none behind but he also experienced the works of mercy as he faced the difficulties of his journey. He discovered the dynamic struggle of people to organize themselves and demand a quality of life for themselves and those around them that provides bread yes, but roses too.

Tales From the Long Memory follows the people who look to Utah as their teacher now while they continue the work that inspired him throughout his life. In Detroit the Wobbly Kitchen shows how the simple act of feeding someone can spark a community of solidarity in a city struggling to rebuild its glory. In Madison the sweet sounds of labor songs echo through the capital building every day at noon. In Portland the Sisters of the Road Café serve up dignity and nourishment at a price you can afford. And in a quaint northern California gold rush town, a dedicated group of community members grow an idea into a house of hospitality called Utah’s Place.
